This design is the first step up board for bigger waves. Ridden 4' to 6" longer than your usual board it isn't so gunny that you can't turn it in 4 foot waves. The overall feel is that of the performance short board, pretty much like a pro would ride but merely stretched a bit. Fin placement is pushed forwards a bit to add the free feeling to solidness that you get with the extra length. For waves from 4' to solid 6'.
